" I contacted James about 11 plus tuition for my child in a panic very close to their exams and I can say that it was the best decision I made.

 

There are many tutors out there and I honestly saw it as a business set up to exploit parents keen on grammar places for their children. Whilst there is a cost involved James offered me cost saving options such as group sessions. I opted for 1:1 tuition because my child’s confidence was previously knocked.

 

James was patient, encouraging and and even on days where my child was clearly fed up James was understanding and reassuring towards (myself and ) my child. Let’s face it.. us parents need reassurance too. I am not familiar with the exam styles or the types of questions. James is knowledgeable and knows what is required by each school or tests. When my child mentioned what appeared to be a new style of questioning he went away and researched until he was able to prepare them for that topic.

 

My child could not have secured their first choice without his help. I would very highly recommend James if you are looking for an 11 plus tutor. "

" Maxine and James are nice 11 plus tutors who tailor lessons to my son's needs for top private school exams.

 

The lessons are organised by topics and taught in depth.  My son needs extra help with Maths. Maxine's explanation of concepts is easy to understand. She also teaches many alternative methods to solve maths questions. My son much prefers her to other tutors.​

We previous used a much more expensive tuition service agency which didn't give us direct contact with the tutors or provide any feedback on my son's progress.

 

We are so please to have found 11 Plus Prep School. They are much more knowledgable and competent. We now have direct contact with tutors and the cost is half of what we used to pay. "
